The grain & bean proudly use Five Senses as their specialty coffee roaster. Why Five Senses? We simply believe they are the best at what they do. With numerous State Barista Champions, as well as Current Australian Cupping Champ in charge of quality control, the Five Sense crew are oozing with knowledge, expertise and passion for the coffee industry.

The grain & bean also support locally produced Tweedvale milk. This un-homogenised rich, creamy milk delivered fresh from the Adelaide Hills brings a noticeable quality to all our milk based drinks. It complements our coffee perfectly to give you a balance of amazing flavour and smooth velvety texture.

We don’t just stop there. Baristas of the grain & bean are lucky enough to have at their disposal a beautiful Synesso Sabre & Mazzer grinders. This gives us the best possible control over the consistency of our coffee and gives you the customer that ultimate coffee experience. To top it all off, our baristas receive ongoing training so their skills are continually improving. They maintain a strict cleaning routine that ensure that no unwanted flavours make their way into the cup.
